Stories of success at ICTP

Juan Carrasquilla is a former student of the ICTP Diploma Programme. After he graduated in 2006, he went on for a PhD at SISSA and, since then, he has worked on quantum computing and machine learning between US and Canada. He took part in the MaX Conference in Trieste as an invited speaker at the end of January. On that occasion, we have interviewed him to find out more about his career, expectations for the future and memories of the Diploma Programme.
